Yanick Dutelly

Born at Port-au-Prince (Haiti), Yanick Dutelly started singing very early. As an adolescent, she took an active part in cultural events at her parish. Yanick was initiated to traditional Haitian dance and made her debut in theatre and singing. She played in Antigone de Jean Anouilh. Music was her only hobby. Her adolescent passion; Ferrat, Ferré, Brel, Barbara. They were numerous to predict careers for this young girl with the troubling voice. Very quickly noticed by Jean Dominique, Director of Radio Haiti, she was hired as an announcer. During the same time, she recorded diverse jingles for Radio Haiti and Radio Métropole.
